THE FACTORY

In Miercurea Ciuc (the central area of Romania) works a pellet factory, which started producing in 2007. The factory run by the Phoenix Company is situated at the western entrance of the town (50 m from the DN 13A high street) in a well equipped and easily accessible industrial zone.
The factory is easily approached from the city’s bypass with lorries delivering the raw material as well as the vehicles delivering the final product.
The nearest airport in Targu Mures can be reached by car in less than two hours but the construction of the airport in Brasov is also in progress, which is 100 km away.

The production line working in our factory constitutes the products of the Dutch CPM Factory, which are the most superb pellet fabricating machines in Europe. It is insured a 3 ton capacity an hour by the production line that fabricates 6 mm pellet from sawdust or wood chips.

This line was expanded by sieve equipment in order to decrease the slag quantity arisen in the course of the combustive process.

Since less and less dry raw material stands for the manufacturers' disposal we planned the further increase of the drying capacity so that we permanently cover the rapidly growing market of demands.

We bought a Swedish patent with many years ago in the interest of the unhindered insurance of the raw material. We did it with the aim of growing energy willow. In this way we can provide qualitative raw material and constant production for our clients.

The products are packed into 1 ton Big-Bag sacks and 15 kg sacks with the help of an automatic packer.

The factory spreads on a nearly 10,000 m2 surface.

Among our clients we may reckon Miercurea Ciuc, the county town's local government, which uses pellet as an industrial consumer in the city’s district-heating system. Furthermore, Italian, Austrian and Romanian wholesalers are also among our clients to whom we are linked with business relationships dating back to ages
